Restorative Dentistry

Over the years, daily wear on your teeth and gums adds up, and you may find yourself in need of a crown, dental implant or root canal therapy. No matter your reason, we’ll help you find the best options to get your health back to where you’re healthy and happy.

Crowns

Versatile and strong by design, dental crowns repair broken, cracked and decayed teeth or can replace missing teeth with a dental implant or bridge.

Group 3

Dental Implants

No one expects to lose a tooth, but if it happens you may benefit from the most long-term and advanced solution: a dental implant or implant denture.

Group 4

Dentures

After losing most or all of your teeth, regain control of your life and appearance again with a custom partial, full or implant supported denture.

Group 5

Fillings

Stained fillings or decayed teeth can benefit from composite resin fillings that mimic the appearance of your healthy teeth and fend off decay.

Group 6

Fixed Bridges

After losing one or more teeth, a fixed bridge fills the gap, prevents the repositioning of adjacent teeth and recovers a healthier, functional smile.

Inlays & Onlays

To restore a damaged or decayed tooth, tooth-colored  inlays and onlays may be ideal as they provide a more conservative option than a full crown.

Crowns

A dental crown or “cap” is used to cover the surface of the tooth where decay or damage has been treated, and protect the tooth from future tooth decay or damage. At Stoeckl Dentistry, we use precious metal, porcelain pressed (or fused) to metal, or all-porcelain crowns if you are looking for a full white smile. Because every patient is unique, we encourage our patients to sit down with us to discuss what option is ideal for their needs.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is of the strongest and most long-lasting versions of modern tooth replacement, and may be recommended if you’ve lost one or more teeth. Because they are secured into the jawbone, dental implants are known to reduce bone loss in the jaw, stimulate healthy bone regeneration, increase dental strength and stability (without adhesives or clasps), and can last as long as a lifetime as an aesthetically pleasant solution.

Dentures

If you’ve lost many or all of your teeth, you understand how hard it can be just to eat or speak normally, or feel comfortable in your own skin. Our full and partial dentures are specially designed to help you achieve a healthier life again in a natural looking smile. Do you desire the best fit for your smile? An implant-supported denture snaps into place into the jaw for a highly functional and durable smile. Call us to schedule a consultation.

Fillings

From solving small cavities to more significant tooth decay or damage, fillings are an exceptional solution and can last several years. Our composite resin fillings are also an ideal option to replace unsightly dark fillings or silver, amalgam fillings to support the remaining tooth structure, prevent breakage and insulate the teeth against changes in temperature. Not only can small and medium composites last as long as amalgam fillings, but they allow us to keep more of your natural tooth structure intact than amalgam.

Fixed Bridges

Stabilize your smile with a natural looking solution to tooth loss. A fixed bridge consists of one or more prosthetic teeth that attach on one or both sides of your remaining teeth with abutment dental crowns. With a fixed bridge, you don’t have to worry about taking out your false tooth or teeth at night, or having it fall out while you eat or speak. Depending on your dental needs, a dental implant may be recommended, or a partial denture to replace many missing teeth. With proper care, your fixed bridge may last at least 8 to 10 years, or longer.

Inlays & Onlays

Have you suffered from tooth decay or damage to your teeth? Inlays and onlays are created in a lab, much like a crown, and will require two appointments. Unlike crowns, they offer the unique advantage in that they don’t require reshaping a large surface area of the tooth. Instead, only the area of decay, damage or an old filling is prepared for a tooth-colored restoration. Inlays fit seamlessly between the inside cusps of the teeth, while onlays are placed over the cusps of the teeth to form a strong, tooth-colored bond.
